Step 1
Arrive on Time
We prefer that you arrive on time for your appointment so you can take advantage of the full time for your microneedling appointment. You are able to fill out most required forms during your consultation, so you should not have to arrive early for paperwork.
Step 2
Relax & Enjoy
Trust that you are in the hands of an experienced member of our esthetician team, and just take this time to enjoy the microneedling process. Microneedling in not painful, but it can be uncomfortable for some, so our team will make sure you’re as comfortable as possible for your appointment.
Step 3
Reschedule
For Morpheus8 microneedling, most clients need anywhere from 3–6 sessions to experience the best possible results, so after your session, we’ll give you aftercare instructions, and we’ll reschedule for your next session. You won’t see your microneedling results immediately, but you will be able to see your renewed skin appear over the next 4–6 weeks!
How to Prep for Morpheus8 Microneedling
4 Weeks Prior
Avoid tanning (in the sun or beds) and fake tanning at least 4 weeks prior to your treatment. Talk with your specialist if you have been on Accutane within the last 6 months.
2 Weeks Prior
Avoid irritating hair removal methods, including waxing and laser hair removal.
1 Week Prior
Do not take anti-inflammatory, blood-thinning, or antibiotic medications or use skin exfoliants for at least 1 week before treatment.
1 Day Prior
Remove excess hair by shaving the day before your appointment. Drink plenty of water before you arrive for treatment to ensure your hydration and streamline healing.
The Day Of
Do not wear makeup, lotion, or other products on the treatment area upon arrival. Make sure to inform your provider of any changes in medication or family medical history.
How to Get the Most From Morpheus8 Microneedling
No Ice
Do not ice the treatment area unless instructed by your provider. You may cool the area with a fan immediately after treatment to relieve any minor discomfort.
Avoid Sun Exposure
Avoid excessive sun exposure and wear SPF and protective clothing for the course of your treatment plan.
Clean the Area
Wait at least 4 hours to clean the treatment area, and only use gentle foaming cleansers, cool water, and your hands to avoid irritation.
No Excessive Sweating
Do not participate in strenuous exercise that may cause excessive sweating (including saunas and steaming) for at least 48 hours.
